Evaluation of steroid output, in addition to metabolism pathways, can provide meaningful insight into enzymatic regulation, Phase I and II detoxification, and other systemic functions.

Which patients benefit from the Urinary Hormone Test?

Patients presenting symptoms of sex steroid hormone imbalances or suspected adrenal and/or HPA axis imbalances would benefit from saliva hormone testing. Patients utilizing topical hormone therapy may also benefit from saliva hormone testing.
